You will be pleased to know that we stock a diverse inventory of vehicles at Napoli Nissan. We encourage our customers to test drive their favorite Nissan vehicles because it’s an important part of the buying experience. Here are some tips to get the most from your test drive when you visit us in Milford, CT.
Consider Features
Before you test drive a Nissan, write down some features you consider important, such as comfort and safety. If you prioritize safety, some features you may want to check out include brakes, child safety latches, and rearview cameras.
If your comfort is an important part of your decision-making process, check seat comfort, leg room, and amenities such as dual-zone climate control. Ask our sales team ahead of time if there is a model with the features you prefer.
Bring Necessities & Second Person
Some items you may want to bring for the test drive include phones, cups, bicycles, and car seats. It could be helpful to see how it all fits. Also, bring a second person so they can test the passenger seat and possibly test the vehicle themselves. It could be a good idea to get a second opinion.
Plan a Route
Our sales team might recommend a pre-planned test drive route, but you may be able to negotiate another route. If possible, drive the route you take going to work or school and different terrains to test how the vehicle handles. Drive it in stop-and-go traffic to test the brakes and take it on the highway to check acceleration.
Schedule Carefully
Try to schedule a test drive during the least busy times of day for the dealership, such as a weekday. However, don't plan to purchase the vehicle on the same day, and test at least three different vehicles, if possible. If you have to schedule another test drive, don't wait too long, so the previous one is still fresh in your mind.
